When we adopted our second dog child just 2 weeks before we were to leave the country, Donna stepped right in and took amazing care of both our dogs and our “dog cat”—sending lots of pictures so I knew our children (including our newest baby) were in great hands. Donna responded same day to the email to get information and set up a meet and greet, free of charge. “We had used Animal Tails prior to this visit with total satisfaction. This visit went as well as prior visits. During our initial meeting, detailed histories were requested on all pets, including physical description, medical history, pet’s Veterinarian, habits, disposition, schedule, etc. Medication, food choice, meal times, and favorite activities were also discussed. Next, we followed with pet introductions and living arrangements. We opted for the once a day visit but more visits are available. During our week vacation, we received a couple of phone calls and a few pictures of our pets. Due to a neighbor’s dog entering our yard, the owner of Animal Tails needed to deal with a potentially uncomfortable situation. The situation was dealt with in the most professional and responsible manner. Aside from this incident, we had a very positive experience now and in the past.
Description of work: Animal Tails provided pet sitting for our small farm. Services included providing feed, water and medication (if needed) to multiple horses, donkeys, llamas, rabbits, dogs, chickens, ducks and several other poultry species. In total, care was provided for 10 large/medium pets (dogs,horses, etc.) and about 40 small pets (rabbits, chickens, etc). Along with the basic services, we received phone and picture updates, pre-visit walk through, and detailed daily reports.”
